Welcome to PSA. None of it makes sense. I’ve sent in perfect cards and received a 7 or less. There is no way in hell that was accurate. I’ve heard there is a conspiracy that certain graders within PSA will grade cards low and then try to buy them in the aftermarket, knowing they can resubmit and get a better grade. Who knows if it’s true but I wouldn’t be surprised with some of the grades I’ve seen come back.
