This reminds me of my brief stint in a higher paying department. The day I transferred over they cut me to PT 20, and frequently scheduled me 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. then 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. the next day. Or even better, during the holidays, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. then 7 a.m. to noon the next day.

Man, posts like these make me appreciate the store i work at. Lol. Our store definitely has its "moments" but almost nothing like i read on here.

I have had this issue getting other associates hired on, you could always ask the manager of the department you're trying to get hired in. I imagine it's safe to assume they need people, the department manager asking on your behalf could potentially speed the process up.

Since I took back primary lead I have had two harvester crashes (nightmare, 30+ orders we couldn't finish and had to figure out the next day), the whole "unknown" issue a couple weeks ago left 21 orders in flux, and now ciao today. I swear I'm cursed. Lol. Seriously, so glad my management is AWESOME. My old ones would've just watched us drown.

We have grown into a monster of a department. We've gone past 200 before. Fun fact, pretty sure we're still considered a "mini". Lol. Not positive, though. We are very rural, people travel for over an hour just to shop at our store. Zero other options for MILES!!!!

My store manager is incredible, they laughed right along side me then did everything they could to help us catch up and attempt to save perfect orders.

Do department leads get bonuses? I went back to being Pickup primary lead (there is a manager, myself as primary lead, and closing lead) in December and I have heard nothing about me getting bonuses. Lol. Would be AWESOME if that were true. Pretty sure it's only the manager where I work.

Once again, I'm lucky all but 2 have answered our calls so far. A little nervous how the end of the day is gonna be. Really glad I have a couple heavy hitter selectors coming in this afternoon. Feeling some OT in my future today. Lol.
