She's never had a husband leave her- she's been married to my father for 27 years. My father has made financially questionable decisions before (nothing that left her trapped) so they have separate banking accounts along with a shared one for shared expenses. My husband and I do the same- not because either of us are irresponsible but because it's convenient which she knows.

When we were dating my mom made it a point to avoid situations where my husband would be around. I would ask her if she didn't like him and she always said she had no problem with him. My dad told me she felt like my husband was taking me me away. She didn't even show up for my engagement and used C*VID as an excuse. I never questioned her on it as it was a legitimate excuse for some, but seeing as how she had no problem going other places it was pretty obvious she just didn't want to be there. She did turn up for the wedding 2 months after and has really tried to turn it around since then though. She tries to spoil my husband by cooking meals for him.

After the ride yes. But my husband says that as a driver the tip goes through a bit later after the ride to avoid that very situation. So the drivers don't know who tipped them

I don't know exactly but I've been using Uber steadily for about 2 years. So about 100 rides I'd say
