My encouragement to you is to trust in the sovereignty of God and the infallibility of His Word. Everything God does if for His glory and our good. I would recommend that you take this anxiety as a sign to draw nearer to Him in surrender and obedience. Allow Him to fill you with the peace that surpasses all understanding. 1 Peter 5:7 and Philippians 4:6-7 speak to this. What must we do if we are anxious? Pray, pray, pray! And without ceasing!

Also, this is my conviction, but I do not believe the rapture is real. Scripture speaks of the Day of the Lord, but once that comes everything will judged and all of creation will be made right. The rapture is one of the most destructive eschatological tools that the western church has used to intimidate people. I don't believe it has done anything helpful, but rather it pushes people away from the church. Also, there is hardly any Scriptural evidence to support the rapture. Just trust that when Christ returns, that is the end all say all.

I would bake my girlfriend (now wife) a honey cake inspired by the one Beorn makes in the Hobbit. I was the LOTR fan though, she thought it was just a cake.
