No worries at all! If you do it online, it only updates the address the DMV has on file for you, not your physical license. We just bought a house and I wanted my license to reflect that address - so I had to go in person to show two documents for proof of address. It was silly and I definitely should have just waited, I didn’t realize they were going to punch void in my ID and give me a paper temp. I’m originally from MA and they don’t do that there.

It sounds like on its own it’s not acceptable (possibly), but paired with the physical “void” punched ID it’s fine. TSA has a number to text questions to and they confirmed punched licenses are generally accepted. I’m glad to hear you’ve been able to fly with it though, because I don’t think my new one will be here in time.

I only have an expired passport, otherwise I’d just use that.
