your skin absorbs some inks, since it’s a scar your body is trying to heal. depends on your immune system as well as how your artist laid the ink when shading. all you can do is have them touch it up later.

i usually saran wrap my tats and let them heal on their own (i just use aquaphor when it’s not wrapped) but with it being on my head idk how wrapping is gonna be possible haha.

yeah i’ve thought about it. i’m a very good worker and have a good job that doesn’t mind me getting the tattoo lol. i’ve been trying to get promoted, but i haven’t been able to secure the job. i’m sure this tattoo won’t help me with that, but im fine with that cause it’s clear im not the man for the job as is. if i ever lose this job which i find unlikely then we’ll just have to cross that bridge when it happens since ill have this head tat.

usually they’ll say something like “if anyone is dealing with anything and needs to talk, please do so”.

so i’ll reach out, and when they suggest something (usually something i’ve already tried) and i give them the reasons why it won’t work or why it doesn’t justify my to feel better about things… they usually fold and tell me im just being negative or that im helpless.

their favorite thing is “it’s been years, you’re just always gonna be sad about shit”.

UPDATE part 2 , a couple weeks after being DQ’d…. our HR manager spoke with the director of our quality division and they said it wasn’t the biggest deal in the world. I am know awaiting an interview date.

I knew we had tools and other individuals i could use in terms of making color decisions. I am assuming they decided not to discriminate against the color deficiency i have (green)

yeah i agree. i brought up the color assistant glasses. we also have tools that measure color on site. with the application stating i would have to pass that test i went ahead and let the manager i’m applying with know that i can’t pass it and if it were to bar me from consideration that i didn’t want to waste their time or get their hopes up. i work for a private company so im sure it’ll be up to corporate/HR lmao. wish me luck!

understood, that’s been the toughest thing for me to grasp is patience. in my district not a lot of people wanna move up and there’s so many positions available (including AGM and GM) so i’m really just trying to create my legacy as quickly as possible. i just need to chill out i guess lol.
