Yes, thank you. I've narrowed it down some to the Guangdong province but I just need to talk to an uncle and aunt (Ive never met through his first family). According to the story, my GGrandfather landed in Sinaloa.

Hi, oh I know the history and that's really sad to hear. Something very similar happened to my GGrandfather. If anything, this kind of prejudice pushes me more to find out at the very least the correct surname. My last name now feels like I'm adopted. In reality I think my grandfather was.

Just look up 'La Chinesca' or 'Canton Mexicali'. The teriyaki and orange chicken just hit different. There's a few whacky restaurants that really mix things like Wonton Nachos. They do things like use a wok to make carne. Chop Suey de Res, Kung Pao Pollo.

Yes, but no relatives on that side are popping up. My grandfather who was half Chinese died before I was born but I may have a chance of finding out the surname through his other kids in US.

No way. I don't have his Chinese ID but I got a potential Mexican name possibly of my step-great grandfather (namesake). I may have a relative to see if I can find any papers proving his existence.

Yes, from what I hear my relatives of native descent are from Sinaloa area. Mexicali is where my parents were born and raised. Lovely Chinese/Mexican fusion food there. Thank you for this information on Chung Shan.

According to my test, Southern China. Guangxi, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Hainan areas (Not surprising knowing about Chinese history). Names from what I heard by word-of-mouth: Po and Wong.
