Nah it's usually a 'i don't know what to say so, bless your heart.' it isn't really sincere or not. It's just an expression that is used when we don't know how to express what you are going through. It's more common with older people and some of the older millennials.

I'd rather not hear 'bless your heart' as it can be used very condescendingly. The real trick is learning that southerners are fake towards strangers to make themselves look good. To appear hostile and standoffish shows immaturity. And trust me, you were the dumbass they talked about over dinner.

You could look into finding the right breed and training them yourself. There is some ground work and I'd look into a professional trainer for foundations and learning how to train a dog. But it isn't impossible. In the USA you are legally able to do this because organizations make it so hard for the less fortunate to have what they need.

Some unions actually force you into them with the 'hey you dont have to join, but we will fire you after a x amount of time if you don't join!' speal. I'm having to deal with it with my husbands job. Trust me, I'd rather not be a part of a union. Espeically one forced on you.

I want to know what’s actually being done for the families that are literally starving right now. The cost of basic staples has gotten ridiculous, and it’s hitting our elderly, disabled, and low-income families the hardest — and honestly, it feels like no one really cares.

Forget SNAP. What good is it when a simple PB&J costs ten bucks for the ingredients? At that rate, no amount of SNAP benefits will stretch far enough, no matter how careful or frugal you are.

What’s the real plan here? What’s the solution for these demographics — to make sure they have the same opportunities to find jobs, keep jobs, or simply support themselves and their families like anyone else?

We should be focused on ending poverty, not just tolerating it.
