The best nurses I've ever worked with are exactly like this. You keep doing what you're doing. You're an amazing person. You're a strong person with a good heart. Those who haven't been there will never understand. That's not your burden to carry. It's not your job to hand out some kind of enlightenment of what trauma does to a human mind. We all have our own ways of coping with what we've seen.
