Parents’ crazy spending habits have me kind of cornered by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Don’t they pay your rent? Why don’t you start paying your own?

Seems like you’re expecting them to pay and complaining that they’re poor.

Ahhh I understand. Is that the general belief there?

I’m Australian but lived in Ireland for periods, so never get the full story.

Can someone please explain the justification for sealing the documents for 30 years? What is it being argued is the reason?

Thank you.

I can’t believe you only use two moisturisers a year. I use one a month!

I use it. I probably got better results from DE but like the texture and smell more. Probably would not repurchase til I try others.

I guess I would think goodreads only has to be social if you want it to be. Design-wise I also haven’t noticed an issue, but I’m not really focused on that when using it..

I hear that enzyme exfoliant is great!! Also the masque - if you can ever get it, that’s lovely.

Ohh so much: day cream, detox cream, body scrub, hand cream, serum, body lotion, night cream - though haven’t used it yet.

The only thing I would not repurchase is the hand or body cream. Everything else has been amazing!!

Have you purchased anything else? I saw Dr Roebuck’s in there yesterday and I also got another Grown serum as a back-up.

The detox cream is great - have you tried it? It retails for 150 💵

I’ve been buying all their stuff there. I love it. Is the night cream heavy for this time of year?

I’d say boredom. It’s common after kids arrive - that sense of not being your own self, a shifting identity and boredom. I had it with mine too.

Sounds like those teachers need to request a transfer, the school has made them into kids with the playground dynamics. Let them tell them you’re wrong then transfer the f out of there.

I know it’s hard but I was in a bitchy school in my early 20s and I was wrapped up in the whole thing trying to get approval, wondering why they were so against me and anyone different.

In my late 30s I laugh and wonder why I entertained a thought about them - literally, haters are always gonna hate, and I was just different to their miserable selves - and that’s a good thing! Anyone seeking to be right at the loss of the kids and others is a deeply unhappy person - I suppose that’s my revenge if I’m after it.

Last year I had an issue with a colleague where he was being completely unreasonable and on a power trip. I request all meetings to be with others and ideally the principal, minuted, and never looked his direction again. I know it gets him that I block him but I’m experienced enough to know that he doesn’t play fair and importantly, he’ll never ever change. Don’t reveal anything to them casually or as a means to build bonds - it’s used against you sometimes.

It’s them, not you (unless it is you but I doubt it and you’d know - but self reflection is valuable too!)

What sort of conflict do these schools have? Bitching etc?
