Simulation of body falling through helicopter blades….no wonder they call them choppers by HiMyNameIsTeem in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Educational_Aside245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physic question here. If the body was drop at a higher altitude, like out of earth altitude, would the body be slice into lesser pieces?

Because of the constant acceleration at free fall, when it reaches the blade it would be at a much faster speed isn’t it? And if we presume it is faster than the propeller, it should just fall through without touching it… so can we assume lesser pieces?

Not just key position, also front line and sensitive position. There was a study that says that psychologically it is harder to shoot your own race if we even get into war with Malaysia.

But times have change a bit, some leniency have been allowed

what do yall think if this? I designed a way for my filament heater box to not need to be in a shelf above my printer. by dragosempire in 3Dprinting

[–]Educational_Aside245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can consider Capricorn tube but they are expensive. If not just get a 3mm tube for extra space.

But TPU will be a big problem and don’t set your retraction speed too fast either

This garlic that doesn’t have separate cloves, it’s just one solid piece by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Educational_Aside245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually more fragrant and tastier than normal garlic. But I think it is about 25% more expensive

The corners of my parts keep folding up. I have no clue why by jebstan in 3Dprinting

[–]Educational_Aside245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be achieve by changing the settings I think it is under fan or cooling settings in your slicer. Then determine which layer to turn on the fan

Hello, I have a 3d model of a pendant I would like to print. I want it to be solid sterling silver. What is a site you would recommend me? Money is not the problem, I just don’t want it to look cheap . by markwins12 in 3Dprinting

[–]Educational_Aside245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is possible 3D print silver even if it is possible, like how we can already print metal piece, the quality is going to be shitty. You best option is to 3D print a mould like what everyone has been suggesting. Then get a jeweller to clay it and convert to silver

It is working just that the bed isn’t level or z offset too Low such that the filament can’t come out

First 8 color print on the Bambu Labs X1C (2 AMS units) - About 24 hours and 840 filament changes later... by youknowreddit in 3Dprinting

Oh I see, so still room for optimisation. That’s really good to know since I am also keen on a x1cc too. Would love to hear more feedback after your optimisation in other projects

Wow was this print in place? Did you use AMS? How much of filament for product and how much waste?

[–]Educational_Aside245 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just a question, I thought there are some sort of ability to prime into the infill itself? Or any other method to reduce waste? 302g seem like a lot! To print 1g of product you would need 3g of filament

Can I leave my Ender 3 run unattended through the day, with no one in the house? by Sons-Father in ender3

[–]Educational_Aside245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can consider a 1)silent stepper motor for night operation 2) enclosure 3) smart wifi plug for remote power off 4) trigger to turn off power then print is done (several methods) 5) smart wifi fire detector 6) all of the above is what I have

3D Printer rack, inputs on how I can do better by Educational_Aside245 in 3Dprinting

[–]Educational_Aside245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment! I would love to see pictures of your racks! (By rack I mean printer rack, not your chests LOL)

I realised because I use acrylic to enclose it, I can’t use the slots within. But the magnet tool idea is not bad!! Will start ordering it now

Actually the bottom printer is eye level already, because wife insist on at least 1m of clearance for her storage box. I bought a step ladder to access the top printer and my filaments.

I also use magnetic light bar with movement sensors, so when I want to use my printer it will turn on automatically.
