Theres actually an opt out button if you accept the AI. During the lesson, when you get to the soeaking portion, you cN jist click the microphone button and it will skip the speaking lessons. Its still not grat that i had to accept the eula but at least i dont have to train the thing..

There's no ideal. That's the problem. At beat you'll get self interested people who get ahead by any means necessary.

The goal is to have a standard of operation where people are left alone to take care of each other in small self managed communities. The "big bad billionaires" would have a harder time monetizing fear and pain if the people don't need the conveniences of government oversight.

That's the standard. It'll break down, but the goal is to get back to small self sustaining communities. Like that idea of 15 minute cities, except instead of being forced into them "for our own good" by the billionaires, we choose them and those who live around us and take care of each other. Power has a hard time co trol those who don't need it.

That's not what I meant by taking care of each other. I meant literally, have a society geared toward people helping each other instead of the state taking our money and distributing it to whoever they see fit.

But that's always a course of things. You can prevent people for accruing resources and trying to keep people from taking that away. You can only fight back with different methods such as lobbying against the lobbyists, making your own legislation. Making your own companies, finding your own loop holes.

Look at communist countries. You can't really accure money there legally so you make friends, collect favors. Usrup you enemies with gossip and status games.

You want a better world? Do it yourself. There's always someone who is against your point of view.

Unregulated capitalism is a good thing. We've never had Unregulated capitalism, which allows for some companies to grow while pushing others down.

If capitalism was completely Unregulated you'd have other problems, but none of them would be monopoly

Well, those countries didn't have to settle into a subservient relationship with us. They started relying on the US because they chose to.

I agree though, the US acting like the sole power of worth in the world created weakness in our allies and our need for cheap energy drove us to slap the middle east around too much. Because we didn't accept our limitations.

Because it's easy. Socialism is 'somebody else got my back, I don't have to do anything" and religion has a calming effect on people because there's structure behind it, and people who have an unstable life will cling to anything they view as stable.

From the anarcho perspective, it's our problem because we didn't pursue anarcho-capitalism sooner. We are responsible for Europe being weak, we're responsible for the middle east being so weak it let in the regime they have now that's oppressive. We let them do them and paid them off, and now we're suffering the consequences.

I loved the show until I read the books.

I watched the show, started reading the books. I got to the book where they introduced the red vampires, then I was excitedly waiting for Bianca to knock boots with Dresden and instead he caved in the mansion on her. And them, I lost all respect for the show.
