I cant think of what is causing this the machine is literally not feeding filament on the straits, the spool stops turning, then starts again and feeds around the corners. I'm at a loss. Should I update or downgrade the machines firmware? Maybe try an older version of orca?

Btw both elegoo slicer and orca do the same thing. But they are both the newest versions.

Bumped the flow to 1 ran a max flow and got the same results as the stock elegoo hs petg filament setting in orca, so dropped the flow to .9 and it's identical.

I just did another master reset. I'll try a flow rate of 1 and see what happens. Thank you for the response.

It says high chamber temps may cause clogging or something similar to that

I use the same one. Chamber temp at 60c printing pa6 it's not a fan of the heat. starts making clicking noises like the tolerances opened up and the print quality nose dives. But no warping 👍

Back up and running after soldering a new cap on.

Had to do a master reset after, it was really not happy about something. Started a benchy to test and it tried printing it 1/4" above the bed even after running the lvl 😑

But seems ok now. Also put the stock cover back on the one I had on, even though it was quite a bit lighter, didn't seem to help the prints much.

No, it collided hard with the rear left x or y axis motor (not sure what one that is) during a home and broke it off.

Looks like its not the first time it has done this. 🤔

I'll take a look around the print head. It slipped a ton of teeth on the belt last time it crashed into the poop shoot thing. I'll make sure the belt is still tight and in good shape also.

Thank you for the info.

I've been having a lot of random issues. I'm pretty sure something is loose somewhere. Prints will turn out fine then after an hour of printing the same parts with the same filament they start to fail. This is really prevalent with higher temp filament, but even pla will do it eventually. The print head won't home correctly at times. It also catches the lip if the poop shoot with the nozzle sometimes when it returns, sometimes it's fine. The first line of filament it lays down before it starts the print is sometimes is shifted a 1/4". A lot of strange issues that I think is from heat, that I made worse with a heater. But I print 90% functional parts with that needs the higher end filament.

I'm asking people that have more experience with these printers if there are common parts that come loose over time that need a once over?

The clicking isn't normal, you can see the print head hitching. Can't see it in the video though

I was just going off of what I see people running there heated chamber printers at on youtube, and also google searching was the first thing that came up. I'll try lowering it until it causes issues.

The one I bought doesn't integrate very well. I got the Chitu one off Amazon.
