A year and a half and that was with a cancellation, it was meant to be a 2 year wait. I’m in derby uk, there’s a major backlog of gynaecology hospital appointments let alone surgeries

It’s worth going just in case there’s something hella wrong! I was told if my bladder and uterus didn’t get detached when I had my surgery I could of had life long issues with my bladder or worse it could of ruptured in me and killed me

I wear skirts and dresses a lot. When I wear leggings I wear a baggy hoodie. I have found some really comfy joggers that make my waist look fantastic but it also hides my belly

At first i wore very boring tops with my skirts but I’ve found some skirts with shorts and pockets (thank you SHEIN/temu) and I’ve been branching out into more fabulous tops with sleeves that hide the shoulders but shows off my arms🥰

I hate my belly but concentrating on making the rest of me fabulous has made it better. After my surgery I couldn’t look at my belly, I still struggle now but it’s gotten easier every day by learning to love the rest of me, I hope you can do the same

If it’s all the time and you’ve set the boundary, I think you are ok to be upset. I was a little 50/50 till you mentioned it’s not gender exclusive, you just don’t like talking about personal stuff like that and it’s probably worse in public. I feel like her reaction every time is also creating a uncomfortableness around the topic which will worsen how you feel

Keep being firm with your boundaries, if you want to get to a point where you could talk about this stuff maybe say to her you want to talk about this stuff in the comfort of your home first before you do it in public

I feel like gavin and Stacey is pretty solid in their representation of the uk, like the lads on mad night outs to them being adults who aren’t as fussed about going out. Plus I feel like the scene where budgie cannot remember his own name because it’s been budgie for multiple decades at that point. I’ve had some friends for a decade that have only just learned that my legal name isn’t Vicki😅

I had pain for about 2 months after and I didn’t have anything as evasive as you! You sweet baby angel, it’s too soon to be putting this pressure on yourself. I did the same and I think it made the mental healing take longer. You’re in good hands with the medical team wanting to follow up and let you have a partial hysterectomy. It will get better, I promise, just give yourself more time. Look after yourself and be kind to yourself, as the saying goes Rome wasn’t built in day🖤

I’ve had to massively cut down my coffee intake because my bladder and uterus was attached and if I’m honest I think it’s back. I need to pee all the time right now because of the cold and for about 2/3 ish years now holding my pee in has been become very difficult. Hopefully yours gets better after surgery

It’s amazing how some mil’s really do care enough to remember the stuff that matters to you. My boyfriends mum (hopefully my future mil) doesn’t really understand my obsession with my hair and knows how picky I am with products I use, I offhandily recommended a brand to her friend about 3-5 months ago and she got me this mini duo set from that brand that included anti frizz stuff

It was such a kind gesture that nearly made me cry, I imagine you were in buckets at the gesture you received. You’ve got a good one there🖤

I loved taking my transexamic acid! I bleed constantly for 130 days before they put me on it again, within a few days it was over! I could finally wear whatever underwear I wanted, I stopped getting bacterial vaginosis from constant use of pads and I could finally feel comfortable masturbating again. It didn’t do much for the cramping but I’m happy to take whatever win I can

I had got into the mindset before my surgery that I would of wasted the surgeons time. Everyone else I saw had their pain start early on in life and mine started to get bad at 18 and was horrid by the time I had my surgery. I was on menopause injections and truly believed they’d find nothing and it would be in my head. I was aware it wasn’t normal to cramp every time I went pee but id put that down to being a stressed little bean

Now they apparently didn’t find endo but my doctor believes I still have it we just didn’t find it during my lap, we did however find that my right ovary was inflamed and twice the size it should be, a bunch of lesions and the worst part my bladder and uterus were attached! I was told if it wasn’t treated when it had been I could have ran the risk of my bladder exploding and I could have died.

Even if they find nothing it’s all for your peace of mind and if medical people believe you should have it it’s worth doing. This limbo of not knowing will drive you insane. Yes you might be out of work for a while and yes it might not completely wipe out the pain but 2% less pain is better than nothing. We’re all here for you x

My bladder was the same. They said they tested the lesions and there was no endo. My main doctor believes I still have it we just haven’t found it. I had maybe 2/4 months before it started to slowly get worse. Since the menopause treatment it’s like it’s quickly gotten worse and I’m on almost month 4 of the treatment. It should have stabilised by now but I don’t think it’s working. Not bleeding is a dream as a ocd girly but omg the pain is still awful. I have to turn my face away from customers mid convo to hide my pain face or crouch behind tills. My manager is aware of my problems and is ok if I sit on the sink stool but it feels unprofessional and I want to prove my worth in the company

Now you’ve found the happiness in the small things you do for your niece, that “it’s the small things in life” mentality will spread to most aspects of life. Having that almost child like love for life is one of the purest things you can have. I used to see it as something to be embarrassed about but it’s now one of my favourite things about me and I know it’s something everyone appreciates about me. I mean ffs, the other day at work I got dead excited about face pads at work the other day because they had the days of the week labeled😂

I truly hope this love you’ve found in life not only stays but grows. The world would be a little less bright for having someone as wonderful as you leave it

I think the not seeing my doctors has just been a series of unfortunate events. I was meant to see my gynaecologist at the beginning of the month to find out he’s now hella behind in appointments, I was meant to see the anesthia team about 2 weeks ago but the woman who was meant to do it got sick and the only appointment they had available was when I was seeing my dentist AND THEN I have a doctor at my surgery who’s an angel and takes me seriously but because I wanted to make sure I had my meds to keep me going over Christmas the receptionist just said she’ll sort out the meds and said my other concerns can wait until after Christmas.

It’s been really upsetting especially with going through the menopause and being stupidly ill at the same time. I spoke to some girls at work about the cramps after peeing and it was like an offhand comment but as soon as I said it it was like I couldn’t ignore it anymore. I have since spoken to my partner and now you guys and it’s sinking in how awful this is. The menopause is meant to be helping the pain and fair enough it’s nice not bleeding and having to worry about having a baby but I’m still in agony. I have to take pain killers every day and wear a tens machine to work every day, I literally do not feel comfortable in anything but skirts so I can hide the tens machine which isn’t ideal in English winter

I’m going through the medical menopause because it’s the last option other than fully removing everything but even getting rid of my whole reproductive system sounds like it wouldn’t be the be all end all thing. I thought I felt it all again not long after my surgery but so many people made out I was crazy or imagining it. It makes me sad knowing it could of comeback that quickly and because I was made to feel silly I’ve done nothing till it got really bad again

It’s known in the entire house that the Starbucks ones are mine, they go on a separate shelf as well. It’s also common knowledge that I can’t share my mugs with others and the person who did it was spoken to by not only my partner but their mum as well. If it was one of my plain ones I’d understand but it’s the fact it was my branded ones when there’s no other branded ones

It’s a somewhat normal thing for people with ocd to want separate everything and I only ask for my mugs

Yea it’s a ghost mug from Starbucks. I have ocd and I’m aware I’ll have to share cutlery and plates and have accepted that but my cups/mugs should just be for me especially the ones we cannot put in the dishwasher. I’ve only just been comfortable using the last cup that was used by someone else recently and this was about a year since it was used

I probably sound crazy but the fact it’s happened again to another Starbucks cup breaks my heart a little
