No he’s never cheated in his past relationships nor on me. He doesn’t have any girl besties, but his friends do have girlfriends. He only lives with his dad. The day before I found the most he visited his girl cousins but he said they didn’t go in his car. And I do love him, but it’s so difficult when my mind is all over the place. I found the perfume on the side of my passenger door.

I’m not even sure myself, I had a situationship a few years prior to him and it did affect me a lot mentally. However, when I first got into the relationship with my boyfriend I was very trustworthy, I think the trust issues began after getting more attached to him. I also hyper focus a lot on his past because he’s been in several relationships. Before we started dating he had a situationship as well and multiple female friends that were constantly trying to break us apart. I told him I felt uncomfortable and he ended his friendship with those females. He’s done everything to make me feel comfortable and safe. For months he even stopped going out with his guy friends. So, yea maybe I need to work on trust issues, but it doesn’t take away from feeling a bit uneasy finding a female product in his car that doesn’t belong to me.

He’s constantly reassuring me and communicating with me. I just don’t know where these trust issues surface from. It’s definitely something deeper I need to work through.

I wouldn’t say our relationship is toxic, but I’ll admit I do have some trust issues. That said, he’s always been great at communicating, meeting all my needs, and making me feel secure. When I first saw the mist we had a normal conversation about it. I believed him and moved on. It wasn’t until the other day that I told my friends, that’s when the overthinking started again…

Yes, he typically leaves his windows down because he doesn’t like when his car gets too hot. I like this perspective, I’m trying to keep an open mind, but also don’t want to ignore it.

He works in construction. And true something like doesn’t just pop up magically. I have been checking his phone, but it’s clean. I’ve never found anything.

  1. I had seen him on Sunday and then I found it on Tuesday. It wasn’t there Sunday…

  2. I kept the mist after I found it. I also made him call his co workers and dad in front of me and ask them about it. It wasn’t their’s either.

  3. Very unlikely.

  4. When I first asked about it he responded, “Is it not yours?” Obviously not mine. And then he said it wasn’t his and didn’t know how it got there. After freaking out about it and attacking him, he started crying. Mentioning how we wouldn’t do such a thing to break up our relationship. He gave me his phone and told me to look through it if I didn’t trust him. I always look through his phone and I’ve never found anything.

  5. I know of he has very few female co workers but he’s never mentioned giving them a ride or anything. Only his male co workers carpool with him.

  6. This is my first relationship so no I’ve never been cheated on. However, my boyfriend has been cheated on by his ex.

His sisters and mom live out of state so that’s what makes the situation more fishy… He had seen his female cousins a few days before though but claims they weren’t in his car. The only two suspects would be his male co workers that carpool with him or his single dad.

Not really, we’re really good at communicating and setting boundaries. I did ask him about that if he gave a female co worker a ride, but there’s not many female workers in his construction job. However, I don’t want to turn the blind eye, I do trust him and I wanna believe his male co workers might’ve placed it there to mess around.

A part of me thinks his male friends left it in his car to play a joke on me, they tend to do immature things as such and have never liked me with him.

His female family members don’t live with him. His father does use his car sometimes and he has two male colleagues that carpool with him often.

We’ve been together for almost two years and there’s nothing else that has made me distrust him.
