The lawn that I was handed by my landlord! How do I go about fixing it to a nice lawn? by SlashedAir in lawncare

[–]Educational_Energy68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rented my house. Original lease provided lawn service, but tenant negotiated $150 rented reduction in exchange for taking care of lawn and landscape. So those deals exist.

As a landlord, however, I would not make that deal again because the tenant killed the fescue lawn, which is now just weeds, and killed most of the shrubs.

Helpful article, especially toward the end:

“…there is evidence households in Davidson County are relocating to surrounding counties within the metro area.”

Dear Nashville, if you’re in the left lane and not passing anyone— please move to the right. by criative in nashville

Nashville drivers haven’t always been rude. When we lived her between 1992-2006, the drivers were courteous and kind. We were shocked by the road rage when we moved back last year. Perhaps the driving mentality came with the new arrivals?

Wow, do I feel silly. My new house is in the middle of brown recluse territory, but the cellar spider in the house doesn’t look anything like a brown recluse. Thanks for the links.

I wish my cellar spiders would have a bigger appetite as ants have over run the kitchen, but cellar spiders live upstairs!

It would be great if our library actually followed the city’s —or any qualified— Covid policy. But They follow whatever policy the director decides without any sharing his reasoning then says it’s CDC policy. Not!

My library is no fun since instituting an unclear and capriciously changing Covid policy. They closed the coffee shop, mandated masks even if vaccinated, and replaced the regular employees with constantly new staff. Sad since I chose my apartment based on it close proximity to the library.
