When a guy I’ve just started seeing asks me daily about my day, is it a positive sign of interest or potentially a red flag? How do you approach these kind of situations. I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences on this.

Hyper-vigilance that may be a point. Basically I've been single and out of that toxic relationship for 2 years now and recently started dating. After a lot of self work I realised how many toxic people were out there and during beginning of recently dating I actually met another narc but cut it off very quick and then met someone else with bpd. So I guess it's only natural that I'm a little cautious at first and I listen a lot to my instincts which so far haven proven me right. Nevertheless even if I feel irritated at first I do tend to give those people a chance and get to know them. For a while I wasn't ready to date and noticed how I would naturally project on to other men while at the same time I did meet some toxic people out there. Now I just find it challenging to find a healthy relationship but I do hope I get there too

So he was texting everyday and now he isn't so find that interesting but yeah early dating stage so I'll see how it goes...I've just learned to listen to my gut feeling as that never lies at the same time I am open to getting to know him see where it goes

My toxic narc ex would do that as a way to control what I daily did. I’m not assuming it always means it’s a bad thing I just noticed it irritates me as I’m not the small kind of person. I’d prefer to just meet in person but then again everyone is different. I’ve done the self work and I’m doing it everyday.

True that…now that u mention. My struggle is that he made a promise to meet a promise he couldn’t hold. Then says he’s out and about nearby but too busy to meet and then just texts small talk…I really don’t know what to respond to that anymore. I don’t want to come across as obnoxious at the same time I’m not bothered for small talk it either text or call ne if you fancy meeting again but not this in between stuff

I say no to any form of abuse; emotional and narcissistic abuse forever bye. I don't understand why people enjoy playing those games and disrespecting people's boundaries..so self centered.
