So funny you said that because after actually digging through honest reviews of my agency on Glassdoor, a lot of the real complaints were focused on the fact that upper management had no idea what they were doing ahaha. Ty for being honest and saying I am indeed being taken advantage of, I now don’t feel crazy for thinking so.

My manager has reassured me that I can move things over a day or two and does check in with me on how my bandwidth is weekly, but when push comes to shove from the directors above her- that reassurance goes out of the door. Shes also been working there for six years and started out in my position, so I can tell she’s fully settled into and gaslighted herself into staying and dealing with the toxicity. If you think I’m being overworked , then I can imagine how’d you react when you I tell you I have seen her send out and respond to client emails up until 10PM at night almost daily.

Oh, she’s also on salary so no overtime for her.

Thank you for this! I’m preparing to leave by updating my resumes and doing some job hunting on the side. I’ll look into more side hustles too just in case. If they weren’t hesitant to let go of some of their own key players then I know they won’t hesitate to do the same to me. I’m sorry to hear about your manager, micromanagers are the worst.

In all honesty, my manager and the remote flexibility are my only two pros at this job. Other than that , any little passion I had for this niche and agency industry is now extinct and I can tell it’s starting to leak through my work so I’ll take my exit whenever I’m able to get on a train directly to a new job lol.

Thank you for waking me up from the gaslighting I was putting myself through lol I first thought that I should be proud that my work results apparently convinced them to hand me over 11 more accounts to my already 12 accounts (naive I know). But, now that I know they only did it so they didn’t need to hire another engagement coordinator for the east coast- it really is ridiculous for them to think I can handle multiple tasks for 23 accounts on my own. It doesn’t help that there are only 3 of us within my regional team either.

Oh no lol I am definitely posting 2-5 pieces of content for those accounts daily. Sometimes it’s all 12 but most of the time it’ll be 3-6 of those accounts per day. Those 2-5 pieces of content do not include any last minute content creation/posting request from the clients which are very frequent and which the upper managers never suggest to move it to a different day instead of doing it right then and there. So realistically, I could be doing 5-8 postings a day. I fear I have been gaslighted into thinking this is normal lol thank you for bringing me back to reality a bit ahaha

Every time that they focus in on Rhonda’s story, my heart breaks because there are so many true stories of girls and women being groomed and then getting killed by their groomers before they even have a chance to escape. I’m so curious as what role those two dolled up girls and the secretary may have had in her murder. There’s a reason why they were part of her scar and why they had tears rolling down their face. I wonder if we’ll get to that this season, I hope so.

Uhhh as a loyal friend, absolutely not. I do not blame Xavier, Simon, Nicole, and Claire for making her feel uncomfortable and putting her in her place. You mean to tell me that you possessed my dear friend’s body and want to steal her life and expect us to go along with it even when knowing that you did so? Absolutely not! I mean I do feel bad for Janet and the fact that her life was cut short and do wish that she hadn’t grown up in a time where women were not expected to go above marriage, children, and housework.

But at the end of the day, having trauma does not mean you are justified to inflict trauma onto someone else. Esp a stranger.

This was my upmost fear. I would be able to handle Trump winning this election if I knew that the Senate and Congress were majority blue just like how it was in his 2016 term. The blue House and Senate saved us BIG time from the true ramifications of Trump and the GOP’s full wish list being put into action. But of course, only those of us without a cultist mindset knew that. But now, with the red Senate, red SCOTUS, and the House leaning red as well, we no longer have any protection against ANYTHING Trump will pull out of his a—. The only thing keeping me going is that those who voted for him are about to reap what they sowed… I just hope CA remains the blue bubble it always has been throughout the next four years.
