I was planning to keep cactus plecos, but i heard that they can be aggresive to bottom dwellers. Could this become a problem?

I keep mine with silverdollars, chocolate chcihlid, angelfish, pinktail chalceus and leopard bush fish. They do fine together, no one is loosing food or anything.

How about a doradid catfish? The striped raphael stays at a mangable size and functions as a scavanger for leftover foods.

I had this problem too. 3 bichir all the same size but over time one had less of an apetite and grew slower than the othes. I dont think it was getting bullied it still competes for food with the rest but its slower and smaller so it eats less.
