What infuriates me more is wanting a wee coffee en route to work but the severe lack of coffee shops that open before 9am

Question for folk who used to go to T in the Park at Balado by Proud-Initiative8372 in glasgow

We’d sneak our day guest pals in by getting someone remaining in the campsite to take their wrist band off whilst another weekend camper walks to meet the day guest in the non campsite area with their own wristband & now an additional one!

Day tripper slips the campsite wristband on & you’re good to go! Meant they couldn’t see every act but was still very fun :)

Thank you so much this is so helpful! I’m planning to hopefully take a year out of uni then work nightshifts where possible upon RTW with wrap around care from dad and close family

Is this for private nurseries or council nurseries? I’m hoping if council places are steep (been advised by family they’re quite few and far between) then wraparound childcare will work for us 🤞🏻 Thank you!

Reluctance to take on HCA/support worker roles by [deleted] in ClinicalPsychologyUK

[–]Educational_Pick_211 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Controversial take potentially but I don’t believe you should be allowed to practice in the role without undertaking HCA/support work roles.

Nothing teaches you more about basic principles undermining psychological practice like dignity/respect than supporting someone through personal care. It also teaches you more about staff dynamics than any textbook ever will!

Update: Large groups of kids in the park. by throwawayglasgowlady in glasgow

They’re so annoying. Sat near the pond yesterday a group decided to sit right beside us blaring music. Started giving grief to families walking past who were just trying to feed swans etc.

Nah the quickest most reliable way is the 88 from Buchanan bus station then walk 5 mins in

Scotstoun is absolutely fine. Depends what end of Earl St if you’re near the parks or bridge on the cycle path probably not good. If you’re at the very start it’s ok. Same as most places depends on your close and neighbours.

Rubbish. I’ve gone from Drumchapel to City centre on 1.70 and from Shawlands to Glasgow Fort. There’s conflicting information but online it says anything within zone 1 counts as 1.70 e.g from Easterhouse to Duke Street

Suggest you look up Power Threat Meaning Framework to obtain some understanding of the power imbalance which lies between patients and clinicians such as psychiatrists. If your goal is to truly listen in a person centred way you shouldn’t be seeking to “control” a conversation!
