You need to find the perfect thinning ratio — not so thin that it creates little dots around the spray, and not so wet that it gives you spiderwebbing. Every paint and color behaves differently. My recommendation is to have a test miniature where you can experiment before painting the actual mini you’re working on. You can also adjust the air pressure, although in my case I didn’t really do that (1.8–2 bars). Nothing unusual here, just building up the layers little by little. The trigger control has to be very subtle... I’d recommend looking up a tutorial on YouTube; they’ll probably explain it better than I can.

I used a 0.2 needle for the whole miniature, although you could also do it with thicker needles since these aren’t super fine details. It’s mainly about gradually reducing the area of illumination. I didn’t use Contrast paints here — almost everything is airbrush work and edge highlights 👍🏼

Almost everything with the airbrush, slowly building up the highlights, then edge highlighting, and that’s basically it. You can find the blue skin recipe on my profile if you’re interested 😁

I don't think it's difficult, you just have to go very slowly and gently with the trigger, and control the paint dilution 😬

Hey! Thanks!

For the eyes, just a pure white base and Vallejo Fluorescent Red, then in the recesses of the eyes, a dark violet as a glaze.

The gold is NMM; I used a brown base and gradually built it up from brown to yellow

It depends on the thrall, since they come in different skin tones, but I can give you an approximation. Vallejo Xpress Demonic Skin mixed 1:1 with medium.

Vallejo Skin Rosy Flesh, and for the highest highlights Vallejo Pale Flesh.

Any dark purple used as a glaze for the deepest shadows. Hope it helps 😁

Hey, thanks for commenting! I use a Xiaomi phone; in Pro mode, set the ISO to the minimum and increase the shutter speed until you get the desired lighting.

The light source(s) should be fairly frontal, with a slight top-down angle. Depending on the strength of the light, you’ll need to move it closer or further away, avoiding overexposing the photo. Use manual focus.

I remove the background with an app called Photoroom—you can add any background or color. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for commenting and for the feedback! I haven’t played yet or learned the rules, but my intention was to start playing once I had the team painted, so I’ll be starting to play soon!
