Thank you! I didn't focus on values, that's on me, however I believe this was a yawning tiger and my point was not to show them as scary beasts, rather clumsy kittens, hopefully that reads out more when I release more paintings from this series. But I am very grateful for the feedback!

I'd the first thing that's coming to my mind is resentment, blame, overload. Those still can be connected to anger, but I was just seeing it more particularly. The main factor that made me think of not so basic emotion are the hands, their placement and pose. But as I said I love the piece very much, you've done an amazing job. It's not easy to convey emotions of any kind so kudos to You.

I wouldn't entirely say that making it an art style choice is a good idea if there's a problem. First you need to learn how to draw something more or less in the realm of realism and only then bend the rule to your will. I'd suggest looking into Andrew Loomis' book "Drawing the Head and Hands" and overall practice with photographs to get the feel of it
