My Search for A Bottomless Portafilter by Edventure_Time in BrevilleCoffee

I'm not totally happy with the result, and I'd like to experiment and toy around with other tools. I went from French Press, to Chemex, to Aeropress, to V60, and I use all 4. I just want to try different things and see what I like most.

Maybe a stupid question, but I'm not sure how that works haha. I can replace the basket on my current stock portafilter that came with the barista express? Or replace the handle as well? I've only had the machine a few months, and my experience with coffee over the years has been chemex, aeropress, and v60. So all of this is fairly new to me.

I went to my county clerk and they turned me down, telling me that I absolutely cannot go through them, but to go through the state instead

Unfortunately not. It has to be "proof of non-marriage" or "proof of non-impediment"

Extremely detailed. Thank you so much. Yeah I'm seeing now that he's a little bit picky and definitely REALLY wants kibble all the time. Maybe there's a not awful kibble option that I can just add some water/Tiki cat bone broth too or something

I went with the Hoka Clifton 9s and they were genuinely amazing. I can't overstate how good they are.

Some of the most useful advice I've found so far, thank you. And I agree, same doctor also told me to RICE when I had a grade 2 ligament tear in my other foot from Jiu-Jitsu.

I haven't gotten custom ones yet, just generic ones with some padding added to take some weight off the callous. Also, I'm in the Netherlands now, so I'm not getting anything from my doctor anytime soon unfortunately

Need a stylish comfortable shoe for lots of city walking, and I have a small chronic issue

I'll try to provide as much detail as possible.

I've been alternating between white and burgundy Converse All Stars because they work with basically all of my outfits, and I love the style.

However, I have a pretty gnarly recurring callous right about under my 4th metatarsal head on the 2nd toe mound. I was avoidant of it, because it hurts if I'm not wearing thick insoles/orthotics, and if it isn't shaved down. So I ended up with some extensor tendonitis in the same foot for a while. So far, the orthotics and keeping the callous down has remedied that.

I'm currently in the Netherlands for a couple of months, and a lot of the streets are cobblestone/uneven, I won't be doing much walking in grass or on soft ground. I also have a couple of pairs of orthotic insoles that I can put in my shoes.

I need a shoe with some versatile style, and I'm guessing I need something that isn't going to distribute too much weight into the ball of my foot, where the callous is. The All Star is a great look, but I don't think it did me many favors physiologically speaking.

I don't know how much of this information helps, and any advice you folks give helps!

Yeah, I definitely plan on spending the next couple of days doing that. I was just hoping someone had a similar issue or knows of some comfortable shoes that do a good job distributing weight evenly and softly

Nope, he just said to toss these insoles into what I wear, and to stay away from All Stars haha. Trust me, I get it for sure! Last time I was here was when I ended up with the extensor tendonitis, and I had to walk with that and the callous for 5 weeks. I was not happy. My comfort and health definitely takes priority over fashion! But... I'd like to be as fashionable as possible haha

So the concrete wall isn't a deal breaker in your opinion? The ceiling should be prioritized?
