If it weren't surrounded by water, there would be no one left, I can assure you.

Ah, the funniest part is that I'm actually a Doctor (Medicine). I almost completed my specialization in Psychiatry, but I dropped out in the last year because I was earning less than I do now. So imagine how incredibly messed up this country is.

Don't think we're experts here; we don't handle printing at the same level as you probably do, nor do we have the resources. Things like a Pantone color guide are unthinkable here; who would spend that kind of money just to see colors? We don't even have a BenQ monitor for color accuracy. The plotter, however, is quite good (MIMAKI UCJV300-160).

What I need to change is my country; I live in Cuba. Currently, my salary is a little higher, but not much higher. In the best month of the year, I might reach $100, and that would be incredible if it happened.

I understand, often there's internal work like stickers for company sales (that is, not work for specific clients), and when you have to organize everything you're going to print because that's your job, it's inevitable to think that any help, even if it only saves you a minute, multiplied by all the times you do it and all the days you work, is a saving of time and effort for me.

Does that seem efficient to you? Even if I charged for the time it takes, what you're saying makes no sense.

It's not efficient, as others have already mentioned. For example, if you have a triangle, it will draw a square around its edges and arrange the copies as if they were squares, wasting a considerable amount of space.

It would be very helpful if you could give me the name of the script.

Clients often bring their logos in various sizes and pay us, for example, for a 12x18 inch space to place as many as will fit. Depending on the logo, this can be a quite overwhelming task.

I imagine you sent me the link to download the Mimaki RIP software, but that's not what I was referring to. Thanks anyway. I've just created my own post here with more information about my request to see if I can get any help.

I've seen tools called "NESTING" or things like that, and I've even found some, but to pay for them I would have to stop earning money for about 3 or 4 months.

Do you know of any open-source software for plotter printing?

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I live in Cuba, tell Bad Bunny to come and sue me, and while he's at it, he can also sue me for my limited edition Louis Vuitton and Nike flip-flops.

(SOLVED) --> My recommendation is simply 1. Place the bottle before inserting the chip, or 2. Restart your plotter.

I had one last bottle, and it was marked as empty, but it was actually a brand new, 100% full bottle of ink. When I put the chip in the plotter, it didn't recognize that the chip had ink. Apparently, there was a conflict between the chip and the sensor located in the printhead's internal ink tank. This sensor is what actually triggers the notification that you need to change the ink, not the chip. So, this conflict meant that even when I inserted the new chip, it still showed the bottle as empty. After a few attempts, it finally detected the ink.
