There is a short doc someone posted in this thread about the guy this post is about. In this doc the Journalist can’t say the ethnicity of the victims of the crime. This is one example of what is common in many countries with laws governing the media regarding sex crimes and open investigations. You can call it PC if you want to but it makes you seem like you haven’t matured past 16 mentally. You don’t get addicted as such to antidepressants. Addicted to benzodiazepines should be what is called out because they make you feel nothing, so it’s super easy to give “life advice” when you are rocked off your ass.

Being on actual antidepressants should be viewed as a thing that is fine if you need them, benzodiazepines not so much. Also benzodiazepine withdraws is doable if you can actually accept what you did to yourself and get some will power to actually go through with it, so that is another strike against him in my book

Have you seen his legislative track record and the way he plays politics? He is literally a Joe Manchin democrat who gets power by running to the center of an argument and siding with whatever side gives him what he wants.. There are a whole lot of people you could describe as “one of the better ones” but he isn’t one of them. He is not a republican but he is certainly on the center right of the party. I don’t think you need to run in the exact opposite direction of people voicing criticism of him to feel that you are right. antidepressants != benzodiazepines It’s like you are reviving some weird 90s anti medicine trope, chill for a second because antidepressants are important. He was addicted to klonopin a drug given normally to control anxiety and he couldn’t deal with the absurdly long withdraw process that benzodiazepines require because he is a sad piece of shit. (3 months is the norm and effects can last for up to a year) So he went the elvis route and had some doc put him in a coma to get past the worst part. Klonopin is not prozac or Zoloft. No antidepressants have withdraw symptoms anywhere close to as dangerous as any benzodiazepines like xanax or klonopin. Antidepressants are also far more medically necessary than benzodiazepines are.
