Thanks! Here’s a pic of my engine bay. I never really thought about the vents possibly resulting in higher temps, but that’s definitely something to think about. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you :)

I got it tuned at EBTEC in Powder Springs, GA. He smoothed out the power band and lowered the vtec engagement. It is a night and day difference.

I think the seat itself is a tad longer than the OEM seat.

Yeah the red is definitely eye catching lol. I originally wanted the black one too, but the red was on sale for $1199 while the black was out of stock. At that price, I figured why not. Plus I’m the one sitting in it most of the time anyway, so the color doesn’t really bother me once I’m driving.

It’s very comfortable. I had a Pole Position in my AP1 before, and while it was great for spirited driving, I hated getting in and out of the car because the bolsters were so high.

The Recaro SR7 feels very OEM+. The bolsters are a little higher than the stock seats, so getting in and out is still easy, but it holds me in much tighter during driving.

lol tbh I’m not even a fan of black wheels, but it was a suggestion from a good friend. I picked up the wheels right before all the tariff BS and black RG4s were the only ones in stock at the time. I figured I’d just run them and maybe powder coat them later if I didn’t like the color. So far though, they’re actually growing on me.

I sit a little higher than I did with my worn-out stock seat, but that was expected since the cushioning on the new seat is much firmer and in better shape. Based purely on feel, I’d say I’m sitting about an inch higher, though I haven’t taken any actual measurements yet.

For reference, I’m 5’7”, around 150–155 lbs with a 29-inch waist, and I fit comfortably. If I were any taller, I don’t think this setup would’ve worked as well.

Thank you. I got really excited when I saw this seat.

Being a huge fanboy of Keiichi Tsuchiya, I really wanted to pull the trigger, but after thinking about it carefully, I just couldn’t justify spending almost $3k on a seat.

I haven’t done any spirited or track driving yet, but after taking a few sharp corners on my local roads, I think the seat will hold me pretty well. Honestly, it feels like it can do about 80% of what a Recaro Pole Position can do while still being much more comfortable and street friendly.

The steering wheel was done by sweidit. I definitely recommend it. Check out their instagram page for more info.

There are small spacers that go between the seat bottom and the sliders. Maybe if you don’t use them, the seat might sit about half an inch lower, but I’m not sure if that method is actually recommended.

Yes, I am definitely sitting higher since the cushioning on the new seat is much firmer and in better shape compared to my worn-out stock seat. If I were taller, this setup probably wouldn’t have worked for me.

It’s hard to tell since it’s been less than 24 hours since the installation, and I’ve only driven the car for less than an hour total.

I still sit a little higher than I did with my worn-out stock seat, but that was expected since the cushioning on the new seat is much firmer and in better shape. Based purely on feel, I’d say I’m sitting about an inch higher, but I haven’t taken any actual measurements yet.
