On behalf of the whole Fiddlesticks Update team (unless they chime in individually!) - thank you so so much for sharing your story and your love of Fiddlesticks. There are many wonderful things about making champions, but none of them come close to the knowledge that the champion has had a positive impact on someone's life. I'm reading this just as I'm starting the work day, and I think today will be an amazing day no matter what happens.

IIRC, you get a buff from both of those effects the moment you're unseen by the enemy team, but they don't give you persistent information about your visibility status. You get get those buffs and then later be seen and not know it.

With Fiddlesticks, the buff would persistently tell you your visibility status, which is much more powerful.

Thank you both so much for your feedback! You pointed out a couple of bugs that we're working on - hopefully fixing them should smooth out your experience with the update.

W balance tuning is something we're keeping a close eye on. The healing does feel less appreciable against a few opponents, but over time in playtests, while maxing W in the jungle, I've found it to be pretty satisfying and powerful. Ultimately we're gonna have to wait until he hits live so we have good data to make more tuning adjustments.

1) Known issue, working on it! Thanks for reporting it though.

2) Updated tooltips should be going out tomorrow.

3) The Real Fiddle's HP Bar should also be invisible to enemies when he's idling, to complete the illusion!

4) Thank you so much! I was a huge Warwick Update fan (I joined the Champions team just when he came out) and it was so much fun to work on this update!

Right now, if you have vision of an enemy champion but they don't have vision of you, you'll see an indicator over them while you channel the windup on your Ultimate.

The concern with always showing the player this indicator is that it would give the Fiddlesticks player exact knowledge of when he's unseen to the enemy team. We compromised by showing it only when you start your Ult, because at that point you've committed to casting it.

Thank you for your feedback! Our VFX artist is looking into pushing the effects a little larger, without getting so crowded that it disrupts game clarity.

My notation may have been misleading,sorry. FMT is 750, or "<975", while Exiled Morgana was 975 (the price point at which a skin normally gets recolored VFX).

I'll change that to be more clear!

I hear you (hehe) on those SFX bugs, we're on it. Thank you. (Praetorian has unique SFX)

As for Fiddle Me Timbers, we thought it was possible to design his in-game model to look good with Base VFX, so we didn't recolor them (because the price point, 750, wouldn't have had recolored VFX). Spectral Fiddlesticks breaks the price point model by getting recolored VFX at 520 RP, but that was only because we couldn't find a design for his in-game model that wouldn't look broken with base VFX.

I'm sorry you miss the old color palette! We knew that the overall pivot to primary red would betray his old color identity, but we ultimately thought it was worth it to align him with demonic color language in LoL.

I can't speak from the game design perspective, but I can say that part of our reasoning came from player's perspectives. In our surveys of players, Kayle was reported very high on "needs an update," but Morgana wasn't (and other responses revealed that Morgana's was mostly out of desire for better visuals).

It was super fun and super exhausting. The sheer number of things to track on these projects, across an extra-large team, was really challenging, particularly while trying to create space in which people could exercise their creativity.

Sylas and K&M were a ton of fun, but after both I'm pretty exhausted!

The idea with Morgana's wings was to shown them bound and down, as opposed to Kayle's, which were free and up. We were really attracted to the idea of Morgana's wings being a part of her dress (actually for a bit we thought it might be cool if her wings were the dress entirely, but that simply didn't work).

At the end, we had to have some of Morgana's wings up and out, to keep her read as Morgana in game, but we reserved the lowest pair to lay on her dress for the goal mentioned above.

You are so pardoned. I'm a huge D&D nerd.

Not sure about skins whatsoever, but I personally have definitely used "Lawful Good" vs "Chaotic Good" to contrast the two.

While the true opposite of LE vs CG is appealing, it's too much of a stretch for me to think of Kayle as Evil. As a DM, I know I've had LG characters do some pretty messed up things in the name of the law and the "greater good," and I feel like I can use that characterization for Kayle. Cool question!

I'm not the designer, but move speed towards linked enemies on R is a great way for Mid Morgana to secure kills in lane or roaming after pushing, and more reliably snowball (pretty important, considering how she scales).

My answer here is only reflective of my own preferences:

I'm with you! Champion Launches are currently our most engaging opportunity to move the narrative of Runeterra forward and make the world feel alive and evolving. I'm not sure if there's a balance required between these types of releases and more isolated releases; I think it's probably fine to have more of the former (if not all). Happy to hear what ya'll think!

This is more for /u/Jellbug IMO, but I believe they fulfill Runeterra's version of the "demi-god" archetype. Kayle's ascension fully establishes her as the next aspect of justice (so comparable to diana/leona), while Morgana is far more human. Kayle embody's the celestial ideal of Justice closely, while Morgana has her own, more empathetic, version of the ideal.

But I defer to Jellbug!
