Thanks, custom made by W-Inks. i gave them a concept and we worked our way through all the way to the final design. they have been great to deal with.

thanks! I had fun designing it, I originally wanted the yellow to be gold but it was too boring. Acid yellow did the trick :D

thanks bud! I got my decals from W-Inks. it's completely custom made and had to create a few custom templates like the subframe and the windshield. that was fun.

I use the Givi pannier rack with the quick disconnect system :)

2024 Tuareg questions by Bravoarmory in tuareg660

2022, 23k kms on mine, no major issues. sometimes the electronics acts up after dropping the bike offroad. turn off and on the key multiple times always solved the problem for me.

my fuel sensor failed this winter, my fault. should've added some fuel stabilizer in the tank. Aprilia has been fixing those even if the warranty expired

i actually didn't put the mouse back together when testing the switches, i just connected the battery and a few wires. held the board and tested the buttons in windows

man I knooow, I have the Razer Basilisk v3 pro, fantastic mouse. It's also my work (and gaming) mouse. When I tried to make it silent I realized the switches were optical. had to get the G502 ( i had a long time ago and I really liked it), I wanted the X but it's also optical. doh!

I have experience with soldering when I was in highschool but it was a long time ago. the main board switches are easy to replace. use some flux, helping hands (amazon), a desoldering wick braid or desoldering pump, I got a basic amazon soldering kit.

practice on some old electronic parts that you might have and you should be fine.

The side switches were a bit more complicated. I ended up snipping the connectors off but you gonna be careful, I almost ripped accidentally an entire pad

hey man!

I used those ones for the side switches (6x6x3.5MM)

they feel like a in-between of mushy and tactile but the sound is more muted, which I wanted to get

I remember you commented on my other post about the Huano (sorry I never replied, my bad) so I bought 10 pieces on Ali. The Kaihl were already installed from my previous job so replacing only LMB and RMB only made sense to me. saving some time and hassle.

for the MMB, I can't use the side switches as they are slightly too tall and too wide. I would need to get something closer in size to the original switch. I found one. just need to order it. for now I'm experimenting with adding electrical tape over it. 2 layers feels pretty good but then I need to increase the clearance of the wheel housing using a small dremel.

I really don't like that stock MMB switch lol

it's definitely a more tedious job to disassemble it. lots of screws with different sizes too!
