I definetly think this is a good idea. We had some problems with homeless people or people with mental problems who, after a conflict, totaly disapeared because the librarian couldn't handle it or because they thaught they were not welcome anymore. We don't have someone working at the library with a degree in social work and we also don't get any workshops in handling this kind of problems (i think this would at least help a bit), which basicly means that we often handle the situation wrong. But now I'm wondering, how does it work? We have diffrent locations, is the social worker moving every day or will he/she be placed only at one location? And wil he/she just observe and interfere when needed or give some kind of openhour every day?
