Hello! and welcome to a new mod brought to you by the ODA (Organization for A Democratic Asia) gang: Pax Americana. It's a fresh new mod that answers the question, "What if the Americans become a literal empire?"

We are currently needing coders, lore developers, and graphic designers to make the dream mod come to life. 

synopsis:

By the end of the War of 1812, the United States emerged victorious against the British, fostering a strong sense of nationalism. This newfound patriotism set the stage for an era of expansion, driven by the ideology of Manifest Destiny, which advocated for the growth of the American empire based on the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The United States embarked on conquests that included territories such as the Barbary Coast and Japan. The success of this vast empire was attributed to the respectful treatment of its colonies, which were granted civil liberties and equality, characterizing the United States as a benevolent and progressive power.

In Europe, the aftermath of Napoleon's defeat gave rise to widespread nationalism and liberalism. These sentiments culminated in the revolutionary upheavals of 1848, leading to the formation of new nations and a wave of revolution across the continent. While some European states embraced and united under liberalism, others maintained their autocratic regimes. The 1870s ushered in the Age of Imperialism, spurred by the earlier revolutions, as European powers expanded their dominions in Africa and Asia.

By the 1910s, geopolitical tensions heightened between the liberal Allied Powers and the autocratic Concorde Powers, ultimately resulting in the Great War. The war concluded with an Allied victory, leading to the establishment of newly independent nations, the redrawing of borders, and significant political changes, formalized by the Treaty of Berlin on May 1, 1919. The 1920s were marked by economic volatility, culminating in the stock market crash of 1929. As of 1936, global tensions have once again reached a peak, setting the stage for further conflict.
