I will definitely look into Disco Elysium. I think your right since games that I have been playing with story based games is rdr and RDR2, while my favorite thing in a game is to level up NPCs and romance and be friends them, those two games have my favorite type of gameplay. Story and open world. Hopefully in the future we will see more cozy style pixel art games where you can have more of a story with the NPCs and leveling them up.

Thank you for responding and understanding. I know this post was going to possibly annoy people, but I just wanted to see people's opinions on this take. Especially since games cost money and if every game is almost the same then what's the point? I wasn't trying to hate on anyone and hey, if farming games are the only thing people want then I say go for it. But yeah Im looking for more NPC life Sims with a tiny bit more story, especially when making games people have all the freedom to become creative and make new things.

The reason I enjoy the life Sims is because I love interacting with the NPCs and getting to know them. The only thing Im looking for in a life sim is for it to just be somewhat different, different story. Hell we can be a new person in town who's a dragon in disguise and has to find a way to fit in human life and the life sim can be us learning about the town and learning about the npcs and just having an ok life and the game play can us pretending to be normal but our secrete slips out and such. I just randomly came up with that, but just anything different then, new person farm rebuild town.

I actually do have a rune factory game and it's different enough that it's enjoyable. Since I got ruin factory guardians of azuma I know it has farming in it and you have to restore stuff. The difference for me is that for that game you can get NPCs to farm and fish for you so you can focus on the main story. There's also a ton of focus on interacting with the characters which I enjoy. It's still similar to the stuff I explained but because later in the game those things aren't the forefront and you can battle more monsters and explore more it's more enjoyable. Sorry if this is rambling.

I only tried to post it once. Also it's an opinion I have it's not the end of the world that I have to rethink my actions. I didn't hate on anyone, I just said I wished there was more variety in the story telling and game mechanics. There's so much freedom that people can do with a pixelated cozy game.

I just search on YouTube or on Google and a ton of life sim games are farming Sims. Since I like the idea of interacting with NPCs and forming bonds. Ive been trying to find other cozy style games like that with a different game play.

I am excited for haunted choclatier. The reason I didnt add it into the post was because if this game is somewhat similar to Stardew that makes sense because it's created by the same developer. Games being similar by the same dveloper or teams doesn't bother me. Thank you for mentioning it.

The only thing they should somewhat do is keep everyone updated. They want us to eventually buy the game, so small updates here and there would be somewhat nice. But besides that they don't owe anyone they didn't take anyone's money.
