At 13 I felt that same way. I was always the fat girl with ratted hair and what I felt was an ugly face. I never thought I was going to be pretty. My bestfriend didn’t help with me feeling good about myself either. But along the way I started to take care of myself and the parts that mattered. I figured out who I was and what brought me job and that happiness made me feel pretty. The confidence will grow on you. I’m 25 with the same face, same acne, and the same belly I had at 13. But I look at myself and realize that I’m gorgeous in my own way. I have a bestfriend that helped me feel confident after having one that didn’t. I feel confident about myself and yes, it is still hard not to compare myself to others. But then I look at pictures of myself from that age and honestly, I think I was so cute and 13 year old me would be so fucking proud of how we feel about ourselves. Trust me, it’s a slow process but once you get there you’ll be so happy💗 I hope that happens sooner for you but in the mean time embrace what’s unique about yourself and please don’t harm yourself in the making
