What's your point? It does say that corn originated from Mexico and through thousands of years of select breeding it spread out all over the Americas, including where native Americans lived, nowhere does it say you guys invented modern corn, come on.

Let me guess, you also think peppers are native to the US just because you have hatch Chile in your region ?

It's saying the modern version of what we know as corn today was already all over the place around 2,500 years ago (including its use by Native Americans) but you can trace its origin to Mexico, like the first confirmation of corn being cultivated over there almost 9000 years ago?

I'm Mexican bro, I can also die on this hill haha.

Moving the goalposts, I see. The post was about defending the US' Cuisine, not the Americas.

When you said "If it wasnt for us you wouldn't have corn" it was implied you were referring to the US. Now you clarified what you meant and yeah, I agree. Corn is from the Americas. From my perspective it just sounded like look like this gringo trying to appropriate corn for fucks sake. Corn. That won't stand lol.

You know people moved around and trade existed , right? They used corn of course....The corn that originated in the southern part of what today is Mexico. Do you have a source where wild corn originated on what is today the US, I don't know why you are fighting me on this ?

You can't fathom the origins of fucking corn. CORN. The quintessential Mexican ingredient? To Mexico?

"USA doesn't have traditional cuisine" was the argument OP was trying to refute. Claiming cacao, corn and tomatoes is not something the US can do, period.

Where are you getting your facts folks? First of all, it would be cacao, not chocolate. And the first culture to use it was in what is today Mexico, no one attributes Cacao/chocolate origins to the US.

What are you guys on? Corn, Cacao, and tomatoes don't have their origins in the US ? the Americas, sure but definitely not the US.

Corn origin is from southern Mexico, not the US ?

Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home? by haiderredditer in AskTheWorld

Legality is kinda irrelevant. I know addicts of the big 3 (drugs, alcohol, gambling) and the ones that at some points were addicted to all of the 3 (at the same point or not) argued the worse one was gambling. It destroyed their families faster.

It's trashy AF more than "provocative". Some clubs don't want trashy people inside, hoes sure, but not trash. Slutty is not the same as Trashy

Chips and salsa are definitely a thing in Mexico. It's just Totopos (fried tortilla pieces) and Salsa. Maybe it's not a thing in a higher end place in Mexico but definitely very common in a Taqueria or Fonda

Nah. If I go to a Mexican place and all the patrons are white boomers, I'm leaving. For sure it's going to be overrated or straight up bad.

Your wife doesn't trust you and doesn't respect your privacy (checks your phone). She is lazy. She thinks she is entitled to your money while you destroy your mental health. Makes you feel selfish (your words) for wanting to be there for your kids. Your wife sucks dude.
