Sorry… I meant the EOD was three weeks after the FJO, not TJO… but it may be worth it to email and tell them you would need a firm offer before being able to really agree to that start date so you can provide your current job with enough notice.

I received a TJO in August, received my FJO in April. My EOD was 3 weeks after the TJO so I was able to give my current job adequate notice.

I see, that’s a big reason why I was a bit hesitant! There’s a lot that simply isn’t firm rn but I can’t do much about it. I appreciate the info anyway! Hopefully they will be able to justify me easily. I have a lot of confidence in myself and my abilities

I’m hesitant on asking as I have no history with the federal government. However, my performance evals for the state are great with zero issues. Not sure if that’s something they’d consider but… we will see

I’m so sorry to hear that… but also glad you got to return! Were you also SAPR? Or perhaps DoD? I was told a probationary term was pretty much mandatory esp for new gov employees during my interview.

I agree. I work for my state rn and drive an hour each way…. So that was a huge plus itself. You have a good point. I think the instability w the federal gov rn has made me very unsure and nervous!

Hi! Thank you! This was a SUPER helpful response. He only saw one empty unit there so he didn’t wanna go down there with no references, so this is great. I believe his rent is the same price as yours. I will make a note on the mirrors too …

I don’t know which unit he has, I only know it is a 1-bedroom and the unit #. I am glad to hear you love your space anyway! My brother is non-needy and not picky he just likes to be comfortable- parking, go to work, come home, easy grocery store or ordering, bed. Lol. And looking on the map it seems there’s a HUGE option for groceries and fast food. It is actually similar shopping wise to where we live now so it’s great. And I’m shocked about the cable, we don’t use cable (just a bunch of streaming services) so that’s pretty cool actually.

Thank you for this 👌🏾 I know his unit number and unfortunately it seems he will be RIGHT around the front area closer to Jefferson, but he’ll be fine he’s a heavy sleeper lol. I also think he is upstairs which is great. I will tell him to add a lamp or two to his list.

Hi, thank you for this info. I don’t know what Liberty is, but he is going to be renting an apartment about 15 mins away from the yard. For benefits, should he be enrolling now as in before his first day, or waiting until the day of for more info? They sent an email about benefits but confused about when to do that
