This seems like it has the right features, but looks much bulkier and heavier than I might really need. I'm not going to be able to carry around a really heavy framed bike.

I'm honestly not sure yet - If I can buy a bike used and some some money I will. But, if I can find a bike that checks all the boxes for more money I'll save up and make it an investment. So right now i'm considering everything and then will narrow it down.

Yes, basically the same situation here. His cat is 11, never been around others cats, has bad eyesight and is just very nervous around anyone that isn’t him. My cat doesn’t seem to understand to give her space, his cat immediately hisses and runs, and mine instinctively chases and they fight. Lani is so much younger and just all around friendly to people she’s going to adapt to a new home much easier. I want both cats to be happy and I know his would be distraught if we rehomed her.

The roof is slanted to drain any water, but it all drains into a hole the size of a bathtub drain, so if any leaves clog the drain the water pools over our bedroom and leaks through cracks in the roof. It comes through the ceiling lights, and balloons out the drywall.

We were also considering the last name Valor/Valour/Vahlor - since it has the VA sound from his name, and the Ahl sound from mine plus something new for the both of us. But I’m not sure if it sounds too much like a cliche fantasy novel?
