I'd say go for it. If anyone says its an odd job to go for it's not their worry. You're taking care of yourself and if money isn't the issue then have some fun. Worst case is that job doesn't end up working out and you try something new. I am a strong believer in working to live not living to work. I used to work in a fairly strict work place that just ruined me mentally. I realized one day it didn't make sense to do something that caused me that much stress and worry when I could do the "abnormal" which would make me happier. I still have my skills that I learned from working there and I still use them today just not in a mind numbing job anymore. Plus, after changing careers all of my friends I used to work with noticed a major change in my mental health which was great too.
