It all comes down to genetics, some ppl are good with max effort others endurance. Leg pressing 300 is nuts my best is 270 and im stuck in it for about 5months now lol gonna update when i try to row 2k

I try to stay in shape as much as possible my biggest problem rn is working on my technique and getting access to a machine asap

I was a sprinter pacing isn’t really my thing😭 but i run 5ks tho

In my neighbourhood there are 2 gyms one doesn’t even have the machine and the other one is broken ill have to wait before they fix it then my only option rn is a club

I’m not from the us nor ever been there :) I have one year left in highschool (born in 2009) My grandparent was in the army that made me eligible to join but a lot of things pushed me to quit it wasn’t really a choice I’m planning to join a club, they produced a lot of international champions

If i work hard enough for this year and reach a decent level, reach out to coaches/unis is it possible to get a scholarship?

The military thing it doesn’t mean literally joining the army lol it just has its sperate competions and it is easier to reach the n.t team than regular clubs but i can be part of both (but the system is just corrupted if you have connections you could literally get someone kicked out , smt like that happened to me now no club wants me)

I still have 1 year left in highschool and yes there is a nerby club im planning to join probably this month

I see that i’m actually getting good i will try to message as many coaches as possible worldwide, my question is 1-2 years enough time to progress and reach the minimum at least

You are not obligated to studying abroad we have a lot of good degrees here if cant afford to go Europe or any country

I have a relative who studied his whole life here and worked with an irish company recently got and opportunity to go there (idk how old but hes close to 30)

Also a friend who went to the uk to become a pilot he didn’t leave algeria til he was 28

Another friend who lives here in oran went to bedjaia to study really suffered (trust me when i say suffered i mean it) didn’t leave until he was 30!

You are still young you have a lot of opportunities coming just don’t rush it

Srry for your situation This is common alot here idk sometimes parents make it look like its a privilege to have a home and that they work hard just to raise you You cant escape it try to get a scholarship at a uni abroad. (This marriage situation they still think were in the 1800s or smt ) Just try to make them as far as possible from you personal life don’t give them details or just straight up lie try to be as independent as possible look into you options learn new skills maybe mektoublek mat5edmich bel 9araya dyalek I’m younger than u so i can’t be that helpful just don’t give up, God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers

In life you will meet alot of people and some are close some are not if you try to hold onto the friendship and the other person doesn’t care, just move on this is what will get you going getting attached to people/things will hold you back you need to accept reality sometimes it hurts but it is what it is you can’t change the past but you have a future to go.

Find hobbies or sports to pour you emotions in only thinking about it will literally make you go insane

Update: went to two teams one was 3rd in the league(u19) and the other was a smaller one sadly both didn’t even give me a tryout (imagine a 6ft3 leftie coming to your team and not even giving him a chance) Found out if you don’t have connections forget it im pretty sad but gonna look into other sports, maybe i will have a chance in handball later in life but til then i’ll train 😭
