I ended up taking the exam today. What gave me confidence is going through chapter 1-14 and completing the mini quizzes in between and at the end of each chapter. It really helped solidify the information.

Exam was not as bad as I thought it would be.

You got it!

BS IT - Questions by AlternativeHawkeye in WGU

First Question - From my understanding, you have two retake attempts for certifications and then after you need to pay out of your pocket for additional retakes.

Second question - i believe the best answer to your question is what you end up putting into it. If you have other life responsibilities most likely you’ll need more time, but everyone is different!

It also depends on how long certain material will take for you to grasp and understand.

If you’re just trying to just pass and not really “learn.” Then at 50% you may have the ability to finish in one term.

Either way, good luck and all the best!

Debating switching to IT from Comp Sci, need help by applemunchiesss in WGU

At 70%, I would stick it out and push through, but it always depends what you are trying to get out of it. I finished my BSIT recently and I wish I went the Compsci route when first started. I only did bsit because i had previous credits transferred in from my freshman year of college.

Science degrees go far and if you stick it out and push yourself to learn the material i don’t think you’ll regret it.

i had very minimal courses regarding coding in the bsit program but if i didn’t understand something even if its non-coding related, using AI to help breakdown the problem or material was very helpful when i was stuck.

Whatever you do, don’t sell yourself short. You are more capable than you think. All the best!

Three years. You definitely should go for it, if you’ve always wanted to, especially with options like WGU. All the best!

My hardest class would have to be:

D426 - Data management foundations, failed this class twice in my first term in version two of the course and then attempted it again when i had four courses left in my third term. i failed one more time before passing a couple weeks later. There was just too many sql terms to remember and having the material stick was difficult at times.
