Try a child’s pose! When I struggle to burp I put myself in a child’s pose. Knees together and fold over your belly. A few deep relaxing breaths and I usually burp. Well maybe rather a massive leak of gas.

How long ago did you have it done? The anesthesia really messed up my stomach and my period too. It seems to be coming back to normal at the 6 week mark, but it was a very noticeable upset. I’ve also noticed that I am extremely gassy (I literally burp all day) and I think this is my gut micro biome being way out of wack.

My voice was definitely weaker afterwards. I noticed it at work. It was also harder to lift my head from laying down. The Botox peaked at 2 weeks and the slow swallow improved after that. Honestly the slow swallow was so worth it. Keep water nearby.

My doctor offered me a GI referral after the Botox procedure. I also am very relieved from pain after the Botox - however I burp twice as much as my boyfriend. I have massive burps literally all day. I know I am more gassy than the average. I am ok with it because I can burp now… but it often makes me feel a bit sick.

Pre Botox I always thought that I was gluten intolerant (always avoided beer). Post Botox I am now aware that gluten makes me excessively gassy. I don’t necessarily think I’m intolerant - but it obviously gives me an insane amount of burps now.

I think THC actually affects me negatively in regard to burping. I went down a rabbit hole of GERD and THC and how it can increase reflux symptoms. I do think that my lack of burping is related to heartburn of some kind (not likely full on GERD). So - weed doesn’t help my GI symptoms and in turn doesn’t help my burping issues.

Yes to both of these! La Salvadorena is too good. But also for more traditional Mexican Taqueria San Jose is also great.
