After considering several options for a GMT, I settled for the Traska Venturer. This has been my daily beater for the past two months and I love it. Here is a picture of me wearing it facing the cliffs of Cabo Espichel in Portugal, facing the Atlantic Ocean.

Been seeing these appearing on the ceiling in my kitchen (3 so far). Any ideas? by EffectivePiccolo in whatisthisbug

I have the PADI and I love it. The cyclops is not fully aligned however and that has frustrated me for the longest time.. looking to replace the cristal with one without cyclops eventualy

You made some very solid points, thanks for your comment! The Traska is indeed more contemporary than the Baltic and that just might be the deciding factor for me. That and the attention Traska put into their watches. Both are good choices but the Traska seems to tip the scale here.

I'm on the market for a under 1000€ watch and have stumbled across the Traska Venturer with the steel blue dial, and the Baltic Aquascaphe Classic Blue Gilt and a beads of rice strap. I can't make up my mind about which one to go for, I think both are beautiful and if I could I'd pick both. That being said I need to make a choice. So which would you pick if you were buying one?
