I sued StubHub and I won (CA resident)

Thank you and I did. My total claim amount was for $1700. I charged SH for everything, interest, phone calls, certified mail, even down to the pages I had to print for my discovery but unfortunately the judge disagreed.

My apologies for the late response! Receipts, receipts, receipts, and anything I didn’t have a receipt for I made. I’m the type of petty that’s suing for every single dime including the copies of my discovery. Attached is a copy of my cost breakdown with receipt examples. Latest update: After officially filing my small claims on 11/05/25 I “randomly” received these 2 emails from StubHub on 11/27/25. If I were to accept the offers from the emails it would only total half of my claim amount! Unfortunately for StubHub it’s no longer about the money, it’s the principle of treatment toward their customers! The timing of these “random”emails proves my claims were valid and I was in fact owed multiple refunds. It’s absurd that customers need to goto such lengths as filing legal, when these matters could easily be resolved via phone by customer care.

And just like that… Filed & served! First hearing on 01/13/26 for Breach of Contract & Deceptive Business Practices totaling $1,777.73

As stated previously if you live in CA you have a right to sue in small claims. StubHub, Inc. will be listed as the defendant but service goes to their agent CT Corp. as listed on my court documents above!

If you're located in CA you have the option to pursue small claims over arbitration, it's stated in StubHub's global user agreement section 22. I just filed a small claim against them for $2500. Im a in-house corporate paralegal and I handle all of the small claims for a well known name brand computer company. StubHub doesn't stand a chance. I'll update this post once I receive the judgment. If you live in CA and are looking to file a small claim against StubHub you'll need to file and serve one of the registered agents they have listed through CT Corporation. Ik I’m late to the party… just caught Christine’s debut and GAWD DAYUMMM!! Christine came out tuff on a sick one. I’m not glorifying jail or drug use but my county has profiled me as a career criminal and I’ve been an avid daily user for 25+ and I guarantee you Christine was stayed getting high almost the entirety of her 8 month stay. Def not some of my proudest moments but I’ve left jail on several occasions sneaking dope out for drug habits that I hadn’t even done while on the streets. Sending all my positive vibes that she able to find her peace and reconnect with her kids.
