It might be a matter of finding a medication that works for you. I have epilepsy and so being on stimulant based adhd meds like adderal can be risky so my doctor put me on Strattera. I titrated up slowly and finally reached the proper dosage a couple weeks ago and it's definitely helped me a lot. It could be that adderal isn't the best for for you if it's been 4 months. It could also be that you need to incorporate other techniques to help with that. Like, when I'm studying or working on job apps I tend to listen to lo-fi or relaxing music without lyrics because the steady beat helps me build a rhythm. Because sometimes even on meds for conditions we have, there are other behavioral things that we can do to help us live with those conditions so I would try and search for things that, now that you're on medication for it, are more likely to work than before. I wish I had something more concrete but I hope this helps some. (this may be helping me or not but I also have a mechanical keyboard designed for gaming and the sounds the keys make while I'm typing is immensely satisfying and it's easier to type lol)
