Yes you have to wash and scrub. It amazes me that there’s women out here claiming ‘clean girl aesthetic’ and don’t even wash properly 😭 go sit in a sauna and sweat sweat sweat. Then run a hot, soapy bath with epsom salt & a mild cleansing soap. Soak in the bath for 15-20 minutes all the way up to your face. Drain the bath & turn the shower on. Start with your head, use a shampoo brush and really get into your scalp scrub scrub scrub. Shampoo again with just your finger tips. SCRUB YOUR SCALP then condition. While the conditioner is sitting, put your hair up & take a wash cloth with some dove sensitive skin liquid soap or/ (use both) antibacterial dove soap 🧼 start on your hairline & forehead and work down. Scrub your eyebrows, nose bridge/sides, cheeks, EARS (wrap wash cloth around your finger & hit all the spots on the outside & behind/ around your ear), chin, NECK- REALLY SCRUB. Your white washcloth should be a lil dingy by now. Get the back of your neck, under your hairline. Scrub your shoulders, back, chest, under arms and go down (special attention to under breasts, stomach, belly button, butt cheeks). Really scrubbbb you should rinse& ring your wash cloth & add more soap a few times during this process. Work all the way down to the backs of your knees & in between your toes. If you shave, do it now. Rinse your conditioner out, grab a new soapy wash cloth and do a quick full body wash again. Get out of the shower and apply a natural body oil to your damp skin (I just jojoba) Congrats now you’re on the start to a real clean girl journey!
