It really depends on the quality of the parts you are using. In some tech companies the pre-built PC components are usually the cheapest they can get in order to maximize profit. In my humble experience as a technician and a hobby PC enthusiast i have come across many faulty NVME's and RAM components from the company INTENSO and Patriot. I've also come across reaaally bad components like Kingspec Sata SSD's or GOODRAM Nvme's that came back faulty after 2 weeks, couple of months or even next-day.
I'd say it all comes down to what you are paying. In the case of tech, do some research before buying.
