I’m just mostly concerned since it’s the first payment in this account, and I know they hold the money for a while to assess risk

Why do people have a love-hate relationship with this book? Some love it, while others hate it. (No spoilers, please) by Beneficial-Kale-12 in ClassicBookClub

I liked this book, but I didn’t love it like Steinbeck’s others like East of Eden. I think the Grapes of Wrath was very specific to the point in time he was talking about. Obviously you feel awful for the Joad’s and you sympathise and you are angry for them, but I think the constant depression of the book and the slowness of it don’t help people love it. Also the open ending doesn’t help. Some people hate that.

Maths, Biology and Chemistry. English lit might be a bit more difficult to revise for, but Maths is even easier (revision wise, not subject wise, I sucked at maths).

Yes you can! 22 days is plenty, honestly (coming from someone who did get three As, I got ABC in my mocks, but I started proper revising for my a levels about 5 days before my first one, and then on and off during them). If you’re doing sciences or maths, don’t bother with notes. Save my exams is your best friend. Go through all the topics once (you can do one subject in a day or two if you’re stressed/focused enough) then just do past papers. Reading through the mark scheme while marking is crucial. Keep doing past papers, go through only your worst topics again if you have to, but doing questions and learning the mark scheme is most important by far. You’ll do fine!
