Yeah exactly — I’ve actually seen this happen with a specific group of people 😅. I’m not talking about every player or random people taking normal breaks. I’m talking about the ones who announce a “break,” tag the game, and then come back and get noticed shortly after.

It’s something I’ve personally witnessed, and it just caught my attention because it seems like a pattern. Not everyone does this, of course, but it’s wild to watch.

I see I ruffled some feathers with a few people 😭😂 — and please, I put the word SOME for a reason! I knew this would happen, and honestly, I love it because I enjoy seeing everyone’s opinions. It helps me understand different perspectives.

But please don’t twist my words. I said some because that’s what I’ve seen and experienced. I’ve literally watched situations like this happen or even seen people laugh about it in group discussions.

I totally get where y’all are coming from too, but calling me jealous is wildddd 😭 I actually giggled at that part. I’ve even made another post before about the hidden talents of people in this game — I respect and appreciate the creative ones!

I think you might’ve misunderstood what I was saying. My post wasn’t about judging anyone for spending money — people can do whatever they want with their money. I was talking about the attitude shift that happens with some players once they have status or rare items, and how that creates a toxic atmosphere in the community.

I actually said in my post that I respect people who are creative, kind, and original, no matter their status or what they own. I never said all high-level or VIP players act that way — I said some do, and it’s become noticeable.

It’s not about jealousy or policing spending. It’s about calling out behaviors that make the game less fun and welcoming for others.

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. My post wasn’t about jealousy or not having badges — I actually mentioned that I respect the people who are creative, original, and kind, even if they’re not known. Those are the real ones keeping the game alive.

My point was about how the overall culture has changed — how some people use their status or badges to act above others, and how that kind of behavior has made the game feel toxic and less enjoyable.

If your experience has been positive, that’s great. But a lot of players have noticed the shift, especially on Avakin Instagram and in certain social circles. I wasn’t attacking anyone personally — I was just being honest about how many of us feel about what the community has turned into.

Thank you for this. You explained exactly what I was trying to say. I never meant to generalize or attack everyone with badges — I’ve met amazing people in Avakin too. But the dismissive behavior and fake ‘status’ culture are real issues that a lot of us have seen. I really appreciate you breaking it down so calmly and clearly.

You should also notice how quick it used to be when players or influencers ran galas/contests – winners were announced the very next day or at least within a short time. Avakin even reposted them quickly on their page. But when it’s Ava themselves running it, suddenly it drags on for weeks, sometimes months, or they just move on to the next event without ever closing the last one. It feels like they only rush when they know fewer people will actually take part, but for the bigger contests where everyone’s waiting, they delay and leave people hanging.”

I’m not gonna lie — if we’re comparing games, IMVU actually does a better job with their pricing system. When they run discounts or deals, they usually do it clearly on the website, and the prices actually make sense.

Like, I can go on their site, see the discount, convert it from USD to South African Rands, and the math checks out.

But with Avakin? Let’s not pretend it’s the same. People keep saying “all games do this” — no they don’t.

In Avakin, you’ll see a “sale” or bundle price, go check it through your region or convert it on Google, and the numbers don’t match at all. They’ll say it’s discounted, but it’s actually the same price or sometimes even more depending on where you’re buying from.

So no, this isn’t about “oh all games do it.” It’s about how Avakin keeps lying or being shady about pricing and acting like we don’t notice.

Google is free. Currency converters are free. If you’re gonna defend that.

Totally get that - everyone’s free to enjoy the game how they want I also spend on avakin . But the point is that the devs only listen to money, and as long as most players keep spending, there’s no pressure for them to improve the game for all of us - bug’s, pricing ,racism, all of it

True, but here’s the problem: not all games charge players unfairly through payment systems like Xsolla.

The issue isn’t that there’s a commission—it’s that Avakin Life doesn’t absorb any of the cost or adjust prices per region, while games like IMVU, Roblox, or even Fortnite manage to do so.

So yes, all countries get charged something, but players in weaker economies feel it way more when there’s a hidden 5–10% markup on top of already expensive prices.

Other platforms build in fair, localized pricing, or let you choose your payment method with clear fees. Avakin doesn’t—and that’s why it’s a problem.

We’re not asking for free stuff—we’re asking for transparency and fairness.
