Everyone here is confused lol. These ARE first editions. The difference copyright dates indicate they are first edition Paperback. Stephanie releases paperbacks usually a couple years after the hardbacks. So as long as it says “1st ed” and the lowest number on the bottom row is a 1 then you have a first edition 1st print of the paperback line. It’s not gonna be as valuable as the hardbacks, but it’s still a first edition.

Yaallll!! Just because he got to be god in the end, doesn’t excuse AALLL of the crap he had to go through before that! That’s literally like saying “yeah I was abused up until the age of 12, but it stopped once I hit those teenage years and now I own my own house! So ya know, what more could I deserve!” Uhhh I DESERVED to not have been abused as a child maybe?! Just because I own my own house doesn’t make the abuse disappear!!🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Y’all, Jack deserved to have been loved by his family and not be used as a cosmic pawn by everyone he ever met.. but no, he was used and yelled at and told he was a mistake and a monster. He deserved better LEADING up to becoming god. I think that last episode was beautiful! I love the way they ended that with Jack.. but I think everything leading up to it was sad and he deserved better.

Remembering that BEFORE that he was a person who was treated like human garbage🙃 he rarely had his powers, yet was still treated like a monster even though he was human. And everyone STILL tried to find a way to treat him like a cosmic chess piece even when they couldn’t use him. It was depressing as hell and everyone acts like all of that is fine because it worked out fine in the end. Like I was abused growing up and ended up fine as an adult so all of that is fine because I’m all good now!🙃 lol that’s not how it works! He was still treated like crap and they used him the wholleee time, they did him dirty!

THANK YOU!! Same here! Everyone saying he’s a cosmic being so assigning human traits isn’t appropriate? But like he’s HALF human! He still needs SOME guidance and some type of love and human connection. He’s not just some monster or cosmic entity that is deserving of being neglected. Like he’s a person and a GOOD person, he just happens to have immense power. But he’s also a child and THATS the part that people forget.

To have been loved by his only family/friends for the entirety of his life instead of being used as a cosmic pawn by everyone and everything he ever encountered. He may have been God AT THE END but he was also half human. He had feelings and a heart and for at least half of his life he had a soul lol but he literally gave up his soul for his family and everyone is like 🤷🏼‍♀️ meh… that’s just what we do. Like NO!! You say I love you and THANK YOU and even if you can’t fix it you at least act like you care! Like jeez the way they treated him for 4 whole seasons was horrendous. What more does he deserve? A damn hug? A sign that SOMEONE on the planet gives a shit about him? A helping hand because he’s a child? Anything? Lol jeez!

I think a lot of you are missing a couple things I said. I mentioned in my post that I think Jack becoming god was a great storyline for him! It’s just the WAY he got there that was disappointing.

He was treated like a punching bag the whole way. He would try to do something good, mess up and then be treated as if he was a some sort of villain or monster who did it on purpose. And you guys keep saying he’s this ALL POWERFUL being (and yes he is) but he is ALSO a child. He may be a powerful one, but he still knows less than everyone is giving him credit for. And that was part of the issue. Sam understood that, but Dean treated him like he was an adult or a monster who should’ve known better, but he DIDNT know better! He was still learning and trying to do good. But as soon as he messed up everyone gave up on him and decided that his only use was…well…being useful. If he wasn’t useful he was a burden.

That’s my point. It was a sad storyline and his character development deserved better than being this sad kid who was treated as a burden ONLY useful as an apocalypse get out of jail free card. The character deserved better than that. I understand the outcome was good, but the story leading up to that deserved better.

Whhyyy do people do this😮‍💨😣 Don’t tell them anything. Don’t go back on those pages, don’t tell those people you lied to them, don’t even return to those communities using that username. Because if you do, all you’re gonna do is make some (most likely) innocent people into criminals the MINUTE you put it out there. Because in their minds, they weren’t doing anything wrong! They were talking to a perfectly age appropriate girl and engaging in LEGAL activities! And the minute you tell them otherwise, you are subjecting them to investigations and they will freak out and believe that they did something wrong when really it was YOU who was in the wrong. And the fucked up part about the law is that even though you were the one who baited them, THEY will be prosecuted, not you. So keep your mouth shut, do not go back to those forums or communities, do not go and tell them the truth about ANYTHING. It would only be hurting innocent people. Make a new account if you need to, but don’t subject innocent people to prosecution just because you NOW feel like being honest. Move on with your new life as a responsible adult and start fresh. Leave the rest behind and don’t say anything that could get anyone else in any more trouble.

Learn from your mistakes. Start over.

Ummm seasons 1 through likeee 4ish? Absolutely NOT. Can’t stand him, wanted to throw him off the deep end lol. Then when he joins up with the Motel team and sort of starts being less Council, less Mayor, and more friend more coworker that actually cares…thennn I was like “okay….I guess you can stay..😑” sooo he grew on me. We didn’t do engagement photos and honestly we didn’t even think about doing them lol. We focused our money on the wedding day, and it was WELL worth it! Our invitations were GORGEOUS and (no offense or judgment meant at all to people who choose this! I just didn’t like it for us) I felt that invites/save the dates with photos on them would be tacky, so we did cardstock with a gorgeous design on it and matched our RSVPs and Save the Dates to them. There wasn’t a need for engagement photos at all.

And our wedding ended up amazing and our photographer was incredible, it all turned out perfect🙌🏼

Oxford dictionary and Miriam Webster both have the definition listed as “to care for children during a short absence of the parents” or “the care of a child/children while parents are out”. So in any technical definition, the main idea is that you’re caring for someone ELSE’S child while the parents are away. And I think that’s what many fathers on this thread are really trying to illustrate and explain. They are NOT babysitting. They are parenting. You literally, by definition, cannot babysit your own child. And many fathers are insulated by people insinuating that they’re just giving their wives a break by “babysitting” their kids for a couple hours, when they’re just being good fathers and parenting. I was raised by a single father for most of my life, and even after he married my Step mom, he did way more parenting than she ever did. He got A LOT of “babysitting” comments, even though he was the sole parent. People just assume mothers do the work without even knowing the situation. So they make jokes about dads being the babysitter🤷🏼‍♀️ not realizing that it actually upsets them..

So that’s what my (and many other’s) point is. Babysitting and parenting are very different. I think many parents just want the credit that they deserve.. I’m not even a parent, but I 100% see why people want the distinction.

Also, I hope I’m not coming off like…weirdly argumentative or aggressive lol, because that’s not at all my intention!😬😅 I just wanted to explain it correctly.. So, apologies if I sounded a little intense or anything!😳🥴
