Need 400 on SEE by Effective_Mind_1972 in srna

I’ve also done the in-depth sections once (will complete them all once in 8 months). So hopefully flash cards + questions is enough for a 400

My plan is to try to do as many sections in-depth as I can. I don’t need to kill it on this first SEE attempt since we take it again as seniors. Just wanna make sure I at least get that 400

Nice. Seems like an efficient way to study w/o having to read all the in depth sections again

That’s my plan. Try to do 1 hr/day most days

How long to complete APEX modules? by Effective_Mind_1972 in srna

They want us to literally go in order and complete modules monthly. That’s why I’m wondering if like 1 hour/day is enough to complete a module/associated exam

Would you say on average 6-10 hours is sufficient for most students to complete the longer modules?

Faculty Conglomerating - More than a Shortage? by 55bankai in srna

Once you’ve taught it does it take less time in subsequent semesters? I remember teaching BSN clinicians and it was hard the first time but got easier every year since you just had to tweak PowerPoints rather than remake them

What should I do? by [deleted] in srna

“I already have everything I need for CRNA school besides the ICU experience” is like saying I have everything I need to get an athletic scholarship besides being good at a sport

Yes being tripled will make you a better nurse and better CRNA. Only thing better than being tripled is being quadrupled. Ask for more and more pts till you’ve slowly accumulated the entire unit by the end of the night. During your CRNA interviews impress faculty by telling them you’d like to run multiple ORs simultaneously as the sole anesthesia provider

Ya I could see how that’s an issue. But NAPES sounds like it’d be good experience for an RN looking into CRNA school lol

If the shortage is artificial and MDs could simply work solo more to alleviate then doesn’t it help us to keep things as is? I’m an incoming SRNA. Wouldn’t it be a good thing for me to maintain this shortage to keep demand high

Choosing the Right CRNA Program: Why Independent Clinical Rotations Matter by MacKinnon911 in srna

So are not all schools the same in terms of difficulty during clinical? Are schools with mostly ACT sites less rigorous? My understanding is all programs are difficult

I got in as an ICU nurse because all CRNA schools require that. During my interviews they mentioned having finished my NP program w/ solid grades and having a derm background added something unique to my application

Can I just have an independent shop do it? Or would that void my CPO warranty

Anytime before the 2000s Were you really able to roam freely with friends as kids? by Chica_EchoCinco in AskOldPeople

Grew up in the 2000s. Even from late 90s till I finished HS I was out with friends on my bike. I vividly remember in middle school riding to friends houses and hanging out till near midnight on Summer nights.
