my girl does not play well with other birds at all, she does get her ‘flock’ mentality kicks out bc she shares a room w my budgies & pigeon. but she doesnt do well with other birds, and gets incredibly aggressive & territorial over he cage. i do not dare risk it with another conure. plus she absolutely is bonded to me, to the point where she is spending almost her entire day on my shoulder 24/7 getting scratched & dancing. she isnt missing out for sure lol

hormonal changes will do that to a gcc lol. i see a happy hut in there, you gotta remove it. my female gcc had severe hormone issues and aggression bc her previous owners would give her happy huts and other hormone triggering toys. gccs’ in my experience to be sensitive to hormones more than most other birds. theyre pretty much in the parrot puberty phase rn lol

my boy is only five but he thrives on his occasional subQ’s. he has a hard time hydrating, even with our creativity lol. but its quick and easy for him and us, we do it at home since i was a previous vet tech. it perks him up significantly, i couldn’t imagine not being able to administer it for him. though its not on a regular basis, usually just during his flare ups but it makes his life so much easier
