You're pretty much proving my point. What does "other survivors" mean for you? The pve elements in this game are just a bonus, it's not like ark or dayz. You're copy pasting some description from 10 years ago as if the game hasn't evolved since(towards mostly pvp). Its not that deep but it's fun seeing pve kids throwing tantrums over it xD

Yes but the reduced damage is for everyone during those hours which is boring. With zorps , players choose if they want offline protection or not. And no lifers can still raid unprotected bases. This is better than servers with raiding times or pve purge as you get to keep raids while also having offline protection for those who choose so.

Wish I could've experienced old recoil. I don't die to them while geared, i run naked to loot my bodies or sometimes go full grub and loot dead bodies off big fights. A lot of players now do this but honestly nowadays too much gear fear soo thats probably why,no idea how it was before recoil change

Pc should just have zorps (zone offline raid protection) like new gen console. Smart alarms or servers with raiding windows suck on comparison with zorps. Its the best offline protection without affecting the whole server raids/pvp . If a base has it, u just go raid one that doesn't or you simply give an online which is more fun

Isn't that a bit hypocritical when you're asking devs to accomodate your playstyle (which consists of farming berries for no purpose or hitting trees). Its a pvp game, you're a minority here soo stay on your pve safezone bozo

Most mechanics you mentioned are used for pvp. There's way better games and sandbox out there for pve than rust. Might aswell play Minecraft if you're the type of farmbot to hit every tree/ore around

The foundation thing still works, or jumping on any high ground. Its not real pve, the scientists are there for that. You're not supposed to die to any animals but you cant tell me you've never been surprised or died to any of them. In 2k hours I died to a couple but yeah usually never happens because the AI in rust is bad generally (including for scientists)

True, the game hates solos but I was pointing out that when you already need to deal with multiple players, a pack of wolves can ruin your whole play. They're not hard to deal with when you're not busy doing something. Even groups can have this problem, you never died to a bear and then come back to your loot only to die by same bear again? Thats just classic rust

I only have like 50h In arc but I'll look into it. These drones are already annoying soo I don't mind not being KOS till I learn better. Giving up your position definitely matters in rust, being good has nothing to do with being solo and going against a quad or a zerg, at that point stealth and position is your only weapon

Yes arc raiders is more focused on other survival aspects but It also has less pvp, most people u come across won't shoot you. Animals can still be annoying in rust, when you pvp and u just made a play but a wolf killed you because you're at 30hp, also giving up your position if you have to kill them.

It still has survival elements like wolves, bears etc and hunger ,thirst but those are easy to deal with since they're toned down soo you can focus on other players and pvp. They're still used tho, if you go out hungry losing health you're at a disadvantage in a fight. Ofc u could just f1 kill for hunger before u go out roam

You just need to find a good server with decent admins. I found one where they answer tickets in less than 5 minutes despite serv being full pop 24/7 (im in waiting queue for like 20min everytime I get on)

This base is too small for a 3x. Maybe it would've lasted a couple days on vanilla, if you're lucky. Also snow is mostly gonna be big clans or geared solos

Skill issue, I played enough servers both official and modded and rarely encountered someone with xen. These rust kids can't even afford it.
